about

It’s timely that in our current state surrounding the issues being confronted by the Black Lives Matter movement, Migrant Media, the producers of the award winning documentary film 'Injustice' present their follow-up film on the subject of the harrowing cases of murder and manslaughter in the UK and the resistance to state violence.
'Ultra Violence’ premiers at the British Film Institute’s London Film Festival, 12 October. Directed by Ken Fero, the film presents raw truths about the effects of state violence upon families and communities. This is a film that politicians do now want you to see. This is a film the police do not want you to see.

Peter Bradshaw, film critic for The Guardian called ‘Injustice’, “the most important British documentary of my professional lifetime.”, and places ‘Ultra Violence’ in his list of top 10 picks for the upcoming London Film Festival.

The film premiers Monday October 12th.

While the film credits roll, 'Speed of Death', will travel through the cinema’s sound system. Produced by D.WattsRiot, the track features fellow Fun-da-Mental cohorts, Scalper and Lloyd Sparkes sharing lyrical penmanship & vocal duties. Mixed by FDM chairman Aki Nawaz, tempered shards of guitar, snatched choral voices, horns and sounds of destruction relay the hurt in just under three minutes.

The root of the phrase ‘Speed of Death’ came from reading & contemplating how nation states invest in death & destruction and that scientists & inventors must engage in mathematical equations and calculations to bring their instruments of death to fruition. The weapons in this case are the Police, instruments at the behest of the state. There is a science behind the madness.

Time to switch it off.
